The doctor's appointment and ultrasound both went really well. The baby is now weighing in at 2 pounds 10 ounces. She is just above the 50th percentile. For some reason, the baby's head circumference is measuring about 2 weeks ahead of the rest of her little body. We won't comment on which side of the family "big-headedness" runs in! Hopefully growth will even out and she won't come out looking like an alien!
At one point of the ultra-sound, the baby had both arms behind her head and was looking right at us. As soon as the technician went to snap a 3-D shot, the baby moved (go figure)! Jen's blood pressure has been great 110/62. The doctor repeated the Glucose Tolerance Test today. Since Jen was tested early, it is standard procedure to repeat it. They do not suspect Gestational Diabetes though.
Our baby furniture came in today. We plan to pick it up this weekend and assemble it. Stay tuned for pics of the nursery!
