30 Week Appointment/Ultra-Sound

So today we had our 30 week scan & fetal echocardiogram. The Perinatologist, Dr. Saldana, did a very thorough examination of the baby's chambers: ventricles, atriums, the aorta, etc. It was determined that everything is functioning properly. (Praise God!) The baby weighs just over 3 pounds and is in the 51st percentile. At this point, she is still breech. The doctors had thought she would've flipped by this point. Apparently she is comfy in there and is enjoying tap-dancing on Jen's bladder. They gave Baby Brueshaber a 40% chance of flipping to the head-down position in the next 4 weeks. If she does not do so, then we will schedule a c-section for anytime 38+ weeks.

The Brown (Brueshaber) side of the family hosted a shower for us in Fredericktown last Friday. We got a few more items to add to the nursery and our high chair. Jim put the high chair together very quickly Friday night, as we babysat Tyler & Kaitlyn overnight on Saturday. Tyler approved of the high chair, although he did not enjoy it quite as much as he does the pink Jeep walker. What will he do when the baby comes in two months and he realizes he has to share?!

The nursery has really come together. We will post some picture soon. It is complete minus the quilt and pillows for the rocking chair. Have a great weekend and take care!
