Welcome Carter James

On February 19th at 10:33am, we welcomed the newest addition to our family! Carter James Brueshaber tipped the scales at 7 lbs 15 oz and measured 20.3 inches long. We had every intention of updating this page from the hospital, but instead of enjoying "free wireless", we were wireless-free.

Jen's c-section went smoothly and she and Carter are doing very well. Addison has been great... very excited to be a big sister! Shortly after Jen and Carter were wheeled into recovery, Addison joined us to meet her little brother. Naturally, she wanted to hold him right away. With some assistance from Dada, she giggled with joy as she and Carter bonded. When Carter began to cry, Addy cooed, "It's okay... I'm here," and then asked, "Can I take him home?"

We were released from the hospital on February 21 at about 4:00pm. It is now 9:30pm... time to quit playing on the computer and get some rest. Many more pictures to come, and maybe even some video.
