Update on the Nursery

We are busy preparing the nursery for our little one. It hit us this week that the baby will be here in about 16 weeks. Jen is off for summer and busy enjoying the pool, watching her niece and nephew one day per week, doing some small projects, and most importantly...making Jim's To Do List.

As many of you know, there was a battle over the decor of Baby Brueshaber's room. Jen wanted something "cute and girlie" while Jim wanted "racecars with black and white checkered flags". Fortunately we were able to finally agree on something that is both cute and neutral! The room is already yellow. We won't have to change the color, but will need to do some patch work, sanding and probably repaint one wall of the room. Apparently it was used as a bulletin board for the previous owners of our home. We ordered the baby furniture this week too.

Grandma Brueshaber is making the bedding set. We are "borrowing" some ideas from a design by Wendy Bellissimo's Honey Bee Collection. Here are some pictures. The first is of the furniture we ordered. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Robinson for buying the crib! The following three are the bedding and how we plan to decorate. (Of course you have to imagine it with the beautiful wood furniture instead of the white stuff.)

Congrats again, the nursery furniture and bedding set are adorable! The ultrasound pictures of the baby are wonderful to see! I'm so excited for you both! We should get together some time!
